Scientific Advisory Board


The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is an advisory body composed of experts in fields related to the MARVELOUS project for the RHU Steering Committee. The Steering Committee can rely on the opinions and recommendations issued by the SAB.

The SAB's main roles are:
- to assist the Marvelous RHU Steering Committee in implementing its scientific program,
- to analyze the results and suggest new orientations or complementary tasks,
- to propose and help to develop innovative lines of work,
- to be part of the yearly RHU scientific day meetings,


Pr. Jean-Claude Baron, Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the Wolfson Brain imaging Centre, University of Cambridge, UK and in the Department of Neurology and Inserm, Hopital Sainte-Anne, Paris Descartes University, France

Pr. Derek Yellon, Professor of Molecular & Cellular Cardiology in the Hatter Cardiovascular Institute at University College London (UCL), UK

Pr. Matthias Stuber, Professor, Director of the Center for BioMedical Imaging (CIBM) - Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV) – Magnetic Resonance (MR) module, University of Lauzanne, Switzerland

Pr. Bernard Burnand, Professor and Chief Physician in Public Health at Institute of social and preventive medicine (IUMSP), Lausanne University Hospital, Switzerland
